Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about buying, selling, delivery, payments, and using Itinerary Exchange

Buying an Itinerary

Common questions about purchasing, receiving, and reviewing an itinerary.

How will I receive my itinerary?

After purchasing an itinerary, your digital PDF will be available to download automatically. Download and save the file to your device so you can access it while planning your trip. No physical product will be mailed, and you do not need to wait for the seller to send the itinerary.

What if there is a problem with my itinerary?

If your itinerary file is missing, will not download, will not open, or is significantly different from the listing description, please email support@theitineraryexchange.com Include the email address used for your purchase, the name of the itinerary, and a description of the problem so we can help.

Can I leave a review?

Yes. After your purchase is completed, you can leave a review of the itinerary. The review period will begin seven days after the purchase. Before this time, the customer has the option to report the purchase, in case there was something wrong with the file. After leaving a review, it will appear publicly on the listing and can help future travelers decide whether the itinerary is right for their trip.

Selling an Itinerary

Everything you need to know about listing, selling, and delivering your itinerary.

How do I sell an itinerary?

Create an account and select the option to list an itinerary. Add a clear title, destination, trip details, photos, description, and price. You will also upload the completed PDF itinerary that buyers will receive automatically after purchasing. Be specific about what is included so buyers know exactly what they are purchasing.

What should my itinerary include?

Your itinerary should provide useful and detailed information on the trip from start to finish. This may include a day-by-day schedule, hotels or areas to stay, restaurants, activities, transportation tips, reservation recommendations, and other helpful travel details.

What happens when someone purchases my itinerary?

When someone purchases your itinerary, they will receive the uploaded PDF automatically. You do not need to send the file or mark the order as delivered. You will receive a notification about the sale, and your earnings will be processed according to the marketplace payout timeline.

What happens if a buyer disputes an order?

If a buyer disputes an order, the transaction will require review before it can be completed and the seller receives payment. Keep all communication and itinerary delivery within the order conversation so there is a clear record of the transaction.

What is Stripe payment?

Sellers add their payout information through the secure payment setup on Itinerary Exchange. Payments are processed through Stripe, and earnings from completed sales are sent directly to the seller’s connected bank account. It typically takes 7-10 business days for the payment to reach your account. Sellers will be prompted to complete their payout details and identity verification before receiving payouts.
